Discounts apply to Northwest, Continental Express, and Continental Airlines. Travel dates for discounts are July 12 through July 22, 2007. Discounts will apply to travel into and out of Chicago O’Hare and Chicago Midway Airports.
Tickets purchased 30 days or more prior to departure will obtain a 7% discount off the lowest applicable airfare.
Tickets purchased 29 days or less prior to departure will obtain a 5% discount off the lowest applicable airfare.
Airline discounts will only apply to airfares that are $200.00 or greater per airline policies.

Rates are available from July 15 through July 19, 2007 (pickup from either Chicago O’Hare or Chicago Midway airports), guaranteed and include unlimited free mileage.
Rates do not include any state or local surcharges, tax, optional coverage or gas refueling charges. Renter must meet Avis' age, driver, and credit requirements.
The above rates are guaranteed. Return to the same renting location or additional surcharges may apply. Weekend daily rates are available from noon Thursday - Monday at 11:59 P.M. (vehicle must be checked out by 3:00 PM Sunday).

Before deciding whether to rent a car, please be advised that parking is limited at Fermilab so we would encourage attendees, where possible, to use the transportation provided between the Hilton and meeting location (approx 11 miles). A bus schedule will be posted here at a later date.
Toll Information
There are a number of toll roads between the airports and the hotel many of which are exact change only. These are usually $0.80 or $0.60 but may vary. If for any reason you do find yourself without change and the toll booth is unattended you may be able to pay your toll on line at Pay Missed Tolls Online. You will need to know your vehicle plate number, in which direction you were heading and time of journey. Be sure to pay this within 7 calendar days to ensure that the missed toll is not processed as a violation.
