Northwest Airlines
Airline reservations can be booked through Conlin Travel at 734-477-6046 or 800-936-1587. Please indicate that your travel is for Summer ’08 Joint Techs in Lincoln, Nebraska. The discounts will apply to travel into and out of Lincoln (LNK), and apply to Northwest or Northwest coded airlines operated by Continental or Continental Express.
Travel into and out of Lincoln (LNK) may be difficult as far as number of direct flights available from your home town. It may be worth checking into flights to Eppley Airport (OMA). Although the discount below will not apply, flights tend to be a bit cheaper. The only real disadvantage is that OMA is located approximately 60 miles from Lincoln so you will need to rent a car or use the OMALINK which is an airport shuttle offering express service between Lincoln and Omaha, nine times a day, seven days a week. Shuttles depart every two hours from Lincoln starting at 5am, until 11pm. (see schedule). Reservations and pricing are available here.
Travel dates eligible for discounts are July 17, 2008 through July 26, 2008. The discounts will only apply to airfares that are $200.00 or greater per airline policy.

Avis Car Rental

The above rates are guaranteed. Rentals MUST be picked up and returned to the same airport
location or additional charges will apply. All rates include unlimited free mileage. Weekend daily rates are available from noon Thursday - Monday at 11:59 P.M. (vehicle must be checked out by 3:00 PM Sunday).
Should a lower qualifying rate become available at the time of booking, Avis is pleased to offer a 5% discount off the lower qualifying rate or the meeting rate, whichever is lowest. The attendee must use the assigned Meeting Avis Discount Number and meet Avis rate requirements to receive the discount. (Rate discounts are available at all corporate and participating licensee locations.)
Rates do not include any state or local surcharges, tax, optional coverage or gas refueling charges. Renter must meet Avis’ age, driver, and credit requirements.
